Nestled in the mountains at the top of Magoebaskloof, Haenertsburg village serves the farming community of the area. It is in this picturesque setting that St Paul's United Church can be found. Built in 1906 to serve the, then, burgeoning mining community, the church has been extended twice in the last century and now can accommodate up to 100 people. Mining gave way to agriculture and Haenertsburg was also found to be an ideal retirement destination. Today the church is a united church and is home to people from several denominations, but mainly Methodist, Presbyterian and Anglican. The tranquil setting and delightful architecture of the church makes it a wonderful venue for weddings.

Our vision is to let God be revealed, known and worshiped through Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to all our mountain community.
